The Galleria Alberto Sordi is named after a well-known Roman actor. It is a wonderful indoor shopping gallery in neo-classical atmosphere, with many art nouveau details and a beautiful glass ceiling.

Next to a large Feltrinelli (for books and DVDs) you’ll find many clothing and bag shops, an affiliate of Leonidas, a store chock full of must-haves and Italian design, a lingerie-annex sock store, two coffee bars and a restaurant.

Valmontone outlet Village is one of the largest shopping centers of Lazio, about 40 kilometers from Rome. At an area of over 45,000 square meters you can find more than 170 stores, including many boutiques of famous fashion brands (Italian).

Via dei Condotti
Via dei Condotti is one of the fanciest and most expensive shopping streets of Rome. The street, from Piazza di Spagna to the Via del Corso, is especially alive by expensive fashion stores. You will particularly find the big brands such as Cartier, Dior, Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent.

However, Via dei Condotti has mush more to offer than just fashion. An address that you should not miss in this street is the famous Antico Caffè Greco, where countless celebrities drank a cup of coffee. The prices here are also quite high, but a cup of coffee is still cheaper than a Dior-jacket or a watch from Cartier.

Via del Corso
Via del Corso is probably the most famous shopping street in Rome. At the 1.5 kilometre long Corso, as the street is popularly called, you will find all the large department stores and chain stores such as Benetton, the Disney Store, La Rinascente, Sisley and major shopping gallery Alberto Sodri, including Zara and Feltrinelli.

Via del Boschetto
Via del Boschetto is located in Rome’s Monti district, just behind the Coliseum. Here you will not find large chains, but also small shops with special products, handmade bags, hip clothing and original gifts.

Also in the other streets around the square Madonna dei Monti, such as Via dei Serpenti and Via Panisperna, you might find very original shops. Take the time to stroll through this district and when you’re done, enjoy-laden with bags- a delicious aperitivo in one of the trendy bars at the beginning of the evening.

Via Cola di Rienzo
Via Cola di Rienzo does probably not sound familiar to you. Yet it is one of the greatest shopping streets of Rome. You will find the Via Cola di Rienzo, near the Vatican.

At the long, broad street are many different shops. Chains, but also smaller Delicatessens, exclusive clothing boutiques, bookstores and gift shops.
