Would you like to travel more often? 5 Tips to save money

Many people are dreaming of traveling but if you ask them why they not going, you will hear most of the time; It seems great but I don’t have a lot of money. What they really trying to say is; It’s seems great but I would rather spend my money on other things. With a regular income and the right motivation, everyone can travel.You will have to sacrifice some things but there are quite a few fantastic weeks opposite!

1.Starbucks & Snacks

People who are traveling a lot by public transport drinking a daily cup of coffee at Starbucks. The average price of a cup of coffee there is about 3 euros. 3 euros x 5 days a week x 52 weeks = 780 euros! That’s a plane ticket to America, Africa or Asia. It´s better when you drink your coffee at home so you will save more money. Okay this is probably not so good as the Starbucks coffee but you take from now on Fridays a coffee at the Starbucks in compensation.

Then you regularly buy a sandwich, cake or snack when you’re on the road. If you are going to track how often you do this, you’ll be surprised how much money you spend. Lubricate your bread in the morning and  you will save quickly 15 euros in the week. Of course you have to treat yourself occasionally a snack, but if you like this sometimes do less than half of you can treat yourself to a few days in a week, like 3 times! 15 euros a week x 52 weeks = 780 euros again.


2.Less car driving

Here you can really save a lot. Think first, consider carefully if you really need a car. Sure it’s convenient, but it can easily cost 200 euros per month if you add up all the costs. That is 2400 each year, a complete trip! If you really need a car you can always ride more on your bicycle. If you save only 10 euro petrol each week, you have 520 euro in the pocket on the end of the year.


3.Quit smoking

Of course you already know that it costs are a lot and stopping is difficult but if you only would all apply this tip, you can go a month to Thailand from the money you save! A average person smokes five packs a week and a pack of cigarettes is soon 6 euros. 5 packs x 6 = 30 euro a week x 52 weeks = 1560 euros.


4. Telephone charges

A subscribe to the latest iPhone or Samsung costs as soon 40 euros per month. If you’re even not taking the latest device the next time and use your old phone a year longer, which it often does well, you can take a SIM-only subscription for about 20 euros per month. That’s another 20 euros a month that you can save and that is 240 euros per year!


5.Clothing & Shoes

This is especially for female travelers… How many clothes and shoes do you buy in a year that you never wear after a few times? An amount is difficult to say but probably you can, if you now think twice as quickly save a few hundred euros per year.


No, not all surprising things which can save money, but especially the fixed costs involved in almost anyone can be a lot lower, with almost everyone (if you want it badly enough) can travel! If you could do all of this you will save 4000 euros!
