Ways to get the most out of the sale in Barcelona

What do you think of 50% discount on stuff? Everything is on sale, especially shoes, clothing, accessories and home furnishings. That sounds really good right? Then you’re reading this at the  right moment, because in Barcelona the deep sales started on January 7. The Sale will ends somewhere at the end of February.

 

What kind of sale

This sale is called Segundas Rebajas. Usually the discount begins with 20-30% and weekly it becomes more till 50% and more. What you have to remember is that you don’t wait too long because you want 50% discount or more. After a few weeks nearby the end of the sale, the least sizes are getting the biggest discounts, for the not-selective people. If you wait too long, there will be a chance that your size is already sold out. When you think about the chance for something to be already sold out, you can think about several aspects, like what product you want or where you are going to buy the product.

Everywhere you look around, you will see advertising signs of the sale. The streets are always full of people who are shopping for the best sale articles. It’s nice that here in Barcelona you have all these billboards with photos because then you can already see what’s on sale.

Best shopping areas

Do you see a lot of people who can barely walk because they have too much bags from several shops? Then you are probably be walking nearby the best shopping areas in Barcelona, like Passeig de Gràcia, this is a main shopping street where stores mostly stay open throughout the day and where you can find popular stores like Zara, Bershka, H&M, Mango, Stradivarius and Blanco.

Expensive brands

Do you want more expensive things? Then you can go to the el Corte Ingles, that is a huge shopping mall where the discounts already start at 50%. You can buy there brands like Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, Lacoste and G-Star Raw. At the Passeig de Gràcia you also have stores that are more expensive like Stella McCartney, Valentino, Prada, Louis Vuitton and Santa Eulalia.

Shopping times

At what times are the stores open? First of all it is important to know for the people who will come over just for the weekend that on Sundays all the stores are closed, so that’s a nice day to enjoy the beautiful city. Furthermore are the stores open from 10:30 till 21:00. Some little stores will have a siesta, then they will close the store for lunch around 13:30 and then they reopen the store around 16:00. The stores will close around 21:00, that means you have the entire day to go sale shopping, fabulous!
