On the 16th of June 1900 the work began on creating the amusement park on Tibidabo. They started with a Tram (known as the popularly Blue Tram) and a funicular railway. At the same time they continued working on the landscaping and construction of the building and terraces. On the 29th of October 1901 the park was officially opened. That same year the first entertainment activities came to the park.
