How to transport yourself in Mallorca..

  • By Bus

Palma de Mallorca has it’s own bus service run by EMT. You pay for your journey when you hop on board – only single tickets. You can get a set of 10 trips at a discounted rate in tobacco stores & EMT workplaces. A night bus works on Friday & Saturday evenings – and on evenings prior to a public vacation. The buses drive past Placa Espana, Avenida Argentina and Passeig Maritim. They run around every 20 minutes.

There is a special bus that runs from Palma to the airport, there is also a bus that runs from the airport terminal to the holiday hotel of S’Arenal (number 21). For these flight terminal routes, the timetables & quits can be discovered on Palma Transport site. Traveler buses also run throughout the year around Palma, stopping at all the important historical sites.

  • By Taxi

The taxis on Mallorca are widely used and is therefore highly recommended for distances that are too long to walk. For a couple of euros you come a long way. In addition, the taxi’s are almost on every street corner. Raise your hand or go to a taxi rank.

Mallorca has been for many years a popular cycling island. It is not just the professional teams who come riding their training laps here, but also amateurs and cycling tourists. The number of riders is definitely growing with the rise of the electric bike. The island is very popular with cyclists mainly by its hilly character. The Serra de Tramuntana and Serra de Llevant are the most popular parts of the island when it comes to cycling. The beauty between by streets in the low country are also more than worthwhile!!

A private car on Mallorca is the perfect way to explore and discover the island. What’s therefore easier to rent a car? The car rental companies are good, because the choice of rental cars is huge. In high season there are on the island more than 25000 rental cars that driving around.
