The language in Andorra
The official language of Andorra is Catalan. Because the indigenous population is clearly in the minority, Spanish is the most spoken language. You can you also speak in French, the third language of Andorra. Because of the huge number of tourists who annually come to Andorra you can talk English too. However, there is a big difference between the tourist spots and the local areas. In the capital virtually all retailers and horeca people speal a nice word in English, but in the quieter villages can an English conversation be a lot trickier.

How late do the stores open and close
The shops are open from Monday to Saturday from 09:30-13:00 and from 16-20 hours. On Sunday they close at 7 pm. Shops in smaller towns close afternoon earlier and are closed on Sundays.
The Department stores are open from Monday to Friday from 9.30-20 hours. On Saturday they close at 9 pm, on Sundays at 7 pm.
Most restaurants are open from 13-15 hours and from 20 or 21 hours opened and closed on Monday.
