My recommendations of local places to visit in Dubai..
Burj Khalifa
The world’s tallest building, Burj Khalifa, is 828 meters height. The tower is inspired by the desert flower Hymenocallis. Burj Khalifa is located at the Dubai Mall, the world’s largest shopping mall. There are a few ways for visitors to enjoy the view from the tower. The most common and cheapest way is with the world’s fastest passenger elevator to the observation platform “At the Top”. Another way to see the overwhelming views is from restaurant At mosphere. There is only one thing… you need to spend a minimum amount of AED. 300 per person and children under six are not allowed.

Desert Safari
The best way to discover the desert is by desert safari. With four wheel drive cars you pull the desert in, often preceded by the ability to drive a quad or you can sit on a camel. During the desert safari rips the driver over the desert dunes. This is a sensational experience you won’t forget soon. If you are going to do the evening safari it’s a normally activity to look into the sunset, very beautiful!! Then there is usually a dinner at a desert campsite where a belly dancer occurs and there is a water pipe that can be smoked.

Dubai Mall
With more than 1200 stores, more than fourteen thousand parking spaces and more than half a million square meters of shop area is the Dubai Mall, the largest shopping mall in the world. The complex has also a large indoor ice rink, a cinema complex with 22 rooms and an indoor aquarium that is the largest in the world. You also can walk along the Dubai Fountain (the world’s largest fountain show) to Souk al Bahar, a smaller shopping center that is all in Arab atmospheres.

Deira
The Deira district is generally seen as the center of Dubai, although by the emergence of several large projects such as Financial District, Media City, Dubai Marina and Festival City doesn’t has Dubai a ‘real’ center. Deira is clearly a what older district, but it is making it authentic contrary to the new parts of Dubai. Points of interest are the Gold Souk in Deira, where dozens of jewelry stores selling gold jewelry, the impressive Spice Souk, where the scent of Oriental herbs and spices you respond and the Dubai Creek with the traditional boats (dhows) and Port Saeed, a real commercial port along the creek.

The Walk
Along the beach in Dubai Marina is a boulevard that has been called The Walk. Here you walk along terraces of restaurants while on the street next to you the expensive cars slowly cruising to be seen. For the people who doesn’t like cars there are a lot of excellent restaurants along The Walk. There is an good mix of international cuisines.

Souk madinat
Within the complex where the super luxurious hotels Al Qasr and Mina A’Salam are located, there is a shopping center in authentic Dubai style that is accessible for everyone. You can buy wind towers, waterways and other local products. Against payment you can take a boat trip on a traditional abra. For the people who wants a lunch or dinner with a beautiful view need to go to Meat & Co. You look out on Burj Al Arab, the self-proclaimed seven-star hotel in the form of a sailing ship.

Aquaventure & Atlantis The Palm
The Atlantis Hotel that is located at the end of Palm Jumeirah is a interest point. As a non-guest, you can visit only a limited part of the hotel, but it’s worth to do it. The Atlantis hotel is located next to aquaventure, a nicely water park which is also very suitable for families with (young) children. from the private beach you have a magnificent view of the villas on the Palm Island.
