The best way to start your day is with a coffee right? But then you will first need to know where to get the amazing hot drink (and some food as well of course). That’s why I made a list of a few of the best coffee places to go in Barcelona.
Alsur really became one of my favourite places, especially because they have the most amazing carrot cake and the tea pots are the cutest! They are located in 4 different spots, but I would recommend the one in El Born! Alsur also has a wide variety of breakfast, lunch, tapas and cakes, everything you need for a nice start of the day!
You probably think: coffee place? I don’t see coffee? Well at Tiramisu you should try the amazing menu they have including a salad, a piece of pizza, a desert (if you take anything different than tiramisu, you’re missing out) and coffee or tea! It’s around 12 euros so the perfect sunday brunch place to go to. And apart from this it’s great to just sit down with a coffee at the terrace on the little ‘plaza’ and watch all the kids running around.
This place was one of the first coffee places I sat down in when in Barcelona, it’s a little bit hidden in a street in el Born. Their lemonade is the best and the food is also great! I paid 3 euro’s for this so it’s also not bad for your wallet.. One sad thing is that they are only opened during the summer months! This is because the restaurant is entirely outside, so make sure you go there in summer 🙂
This coffee already looks like perfection, and I can assure you that it also tastes like that! Ruma’s is a small coffee place in between plaza catalunya and universitat that has good coffee and very nice barista’s. Best place for a quick ‘Cafe con leche para llevar’!
Cosmo la central
This cafe is a library + coffee place in one, here you can enjoy your coffee whilst reading a good book! They always have amazing cakes and coffee. This is the perfect place for a chill sunday morning with your favourite book.
Of course there are way more coffee places but these are the ones I like the best! Make sure you check them out if you’re in Barcelona 🙂
