When you think about the summer you´ll immediately think of sandy and warm beaches. Once you go to the beach, you always make the same mistake and see that you are not the only one who has decided to enjoy the sea. A lot of beach visitors are always searching for a spot were their beach towel fits. We think this isn’t the best way to enjoy your well- deserved vacation. That´s why we decided to go on tour and collect 5 less touristic, hidden beaches in Spain! All of them are amazing and easy to reach by car or train.
Cala Codolar, Ibiza
The popular beaches in Ibiza are often a hole in the budget for your vacation. 15 euros for hiring a sunbed, 6 euros for a simple soda and so on.. At Cala Codolar you don´t have to worry about a spot or any commercial stuff. There is enough space to lay down your towel and the beach bar is a little cosy bar with affordable prices. The views is, as always at Ibiza, beautiful!
San Sebastian, Sitges (Nearby Barcelona)
Sant Sebasian beach is located between the old town and the port of Sitges and can be reached in 30 minutes by train from Barcelona. This family beach is always visited by the locals. If you want to escape from the big and crowded city of Barcelona, Sant Sebastian is a perfect spot to visit with your family. You have a magnificent view of the old town, located on a hill overlooking the Mediterranean. Sitges city is also worth a visit because of the ancient town with a lot of little shops with unique stuff and a friendly vibe!
Carabeo, Nerja (Nearby Malaga)
Nerja is a well known village in Spain because of its beaches. The most visitors think Burriana is the only beach in Nerja. The Canary Islands are very famous because of their sun drenched beaches. Papagayo is one of this photogenic places. There is a perfect beachbar on the hillside where you can buy drinks or have a good meal. Don’t worry, this little beach is accessible by car.
Cala Leña, Ibiza
Another beautiful hidden beach of Ibiza is Cala Leña. This white sandy beach is more quiet and is located in the North East of the island. Even in peak season this beach is one of the most quiet beaches. It is located in a valley of sloping pines so there is a lot of shadow for a perfect picnic.
