My recommendations of local places to visit in Dubai..
Sheikh Saeed Al-Maktoum House
Sheikh Saeed Al Maktoum was the Leader of Dubai from 1921 to 1958, and granfather to the current leader. His former house has been rebuilt and brought back as a gallery that is a fine instance of Arabian design. The original residence was integrateded 1896 by Sheikh Saeed’s father, so he could possibly note shipping activity from the balconies.

Jumeirah Mosque
Jumeirah Mosque is by far the most stunning mosque of Dubai’s mosques. It’s a specific copy of Cairo’s Al-Azhar Mosque that is 8 times its size, the Jumeirah Mosque is a fine example of Islamic design. There are tours of the mosque designed to try to foster a better understanding of the Muslim faith.
