My recommendations of places to visit in Ibiza..
Dalt Vila
The old historic heart of Ibiza is called ‘Dalt Vila’. Within the old city walls of this higher ground are Unesco World Heritage sites. You will find there among other things the Cathedral ‘Cathedral de la Verge de les Neus’. The simple-looking Catalan construction work is manufactured in the sixteenth century and has undergone some renovations.
Inside are a number of particular works of art on display. Another nearby point of interest is Castell Almundaina and there are also a few museums such as the Museu Arqueològic d’Eivissa and the Museo d’Art Contemporani with much contemporary art. A walk inside and on the walls of Dalt Vila will surprise you in terms of beauty.

Es Cavallet
This pretty beach is especially popular with naturists. The convenient and accessible location, of course, also plays a role. ES Cavallet is situated between Playa d’en Bossa and Las Salinas where Ses Salinas is located. Around the local beach tent you will find no naturist, but a mixed audience. Often you’ll find here famous people. When you leave this location you will notice very quickly that the coastal strip is getting more and more filled with people who like to stay on the beach ”very natural”.

Punta Arabi
On this largest hippie market of Ibiza in Es Canar you will find more than five hundred stalls with diverse and often-colored articles. You will see among others; beautiful jewelry, works of art, musical instruments, clothing, scarves, bags, kites and much, much more. Since the original hippies conquered the island of Ibiza this market became slowly but surely very famous. Since its founding in 1973, the hippies could take care of themselfs by selling homemade articles. A charm that is still there.

Las Dalias
Near the cosy village of San Carles is the hippie market Las Dalias. Every Saturday you can scour the stalls for a wide range of notable items. Apart from art you will also find jewellery, bags, hats, shoes and lots of colorful accessories.

Balearic Islands
Formentera
This smallest inhabited island of the Balearic Islands is located very close to the island of Ibiza. A day trip is easily made. From the port of Ibiza town and Sant Antoni you are in about 25 minutes by ferry in La Savina. Formentera has some nice beaches such as Playa de ses Illetes and Playa de Llevant. The northern part of Formentera belongs to the natural park of Ses Salines, of which the largest part is on the island of Ibiza. The highest point of Formentera is at Far de la Mola in the East. The Lighthouse is able to be seen from far too. Among the attractions are the salt pans Las Salinas, the Church of Sant Francesc and the port La Savina.

Torres de Balàfia
In the area Sant Llorenç you can visit the beautiful Torres de Balàfia. The two towers and intermediate houses had the function to alert the inhabitants in a timely manner if danger threatened such as attacks by pirates. One could then take refuge in the houses. The architecture is very traditional and typical of the region.
