Bunkers del Carmel
Want a breathtaking view of the city without the crowds of Park Güell? Visit the Bunkers del Carmel. This old defense point from the Spanish Civil War offers a panoramic view of Barcelona and is a favorite spot among locals for a sunset picnic.

El born Cultural Center
In the heart of the El Born district lies a place full of history: El Born Cultural Center. Here, you can fine the remains of a medieval city under a beautifull glass roof. This cultural center is less known to tourist and offers a fascinating insight into Barcelona´s past.
Plaça de Sant Felip Neri
This small, atmospheric square is one of the most hidden places in the Gothic Quarter. THe square has a tragic history: the walls still bear the scares of bombings from the Spanish Civil War. Today, it is a peaceful oasis away from the hustle and bustle, with a fountain in the middle and a special ambiance.
Antic Teatre
Looking for a unique place to relax a drink? Antic Teatre, hidden behind the Palau de la Música Catalana, is a charming garden bar where locals love to gather. The atmosphere is laid-back, the cocktails are delicious and its a perfect place to start the evening.
Carrer de Blai
For an authentic tapas experience, head to Carrer de Blai in the Poble-Sec district. The pedestrian street is lined with pintxos bars where you can try delicious snacks and drinks at an affordable price. It´s the ideal place for a culinary adventure without the tourist crowds.
Horta Labyrinth Park
One of the most romantic and mysterious places in Barcelona is the Horta Labyrinth Park. This beautifull neoclassical park features a real maze, fountains, and sculptures. It´s a perfect escape from the city´s hustle and a great place for a relaxing walk.

While the Boqueria Market is famous, the Mercat de Sant Antoni is a less crowded alternative where you can find just a many fresh products, local delicacies and vintage books. It´s a great place to experience true Catalan market culture.
Jardins de Mossèn Costa i Llobera
For a unique piece of nature in the city, visit the Jardins de Mossèn Costa i Llobera. This cactus garden on Montjuïc offers an impressive collection of succulents and a great view of Barcelona´s harbor. A perfect place to unwind.
