The rebajas in Spanish or rebaixes in Catalan as the locals call it have enormous disounts. The discounts can reach up to 50% percent. All the stores sell their leftovers of the previous seasons. The Spaniard are taking the rebajas very serious, the government has decided that the stores in Spain only can use the term rebajas or rebaixes two times per year. Thanks to this law all the stores participate in the sale. They want to get rid of the leftovers but want a good price for it.
