ABN Amro World Tennis Tournament
The Rotterdam Open (sponsored by ABN AMRO and NOW called the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament) is a professional tennis tournament played on indoor hard courts. It is part of the 500 series of the ATP Tour. It has been held annually at the Ahoy Rotterdam in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

Rotterdam Museum Night
Museumnacht010 takes place on Saturday 4 March 2017 at more than thirty locations all over Rotterdam. All the museums and cultural institutions taking part are open from 8.00 p. m. until 1.00 a. m., offering a programme full of entertaining extras that provide a slightly different view of Rotterdam. A unique opportunity to take a nocturnal ramble through all the art and culture Rotterdam has to offer!

NN Marathon Rotterdam
The 37th NN Marathon Rotterdam takes place in the weekend of Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 April 2017. The world’s top athletes as well as thousands of runners from home and abroad get to experience what it’s like to finish on the renowned Coolsingel; it’s a marathon weekend that combines top sporting action with a festival feel. No other marathon in the Netherlands can match the Rotterdam atmosphere, with more than 950,000 enthusiastic spectators along the course.

Koningsdag (King’s Day)

King’s Day (Koningsdag), a national holiday in the Netherlands, celebrates the birthday of the King of the Netherlands. King’s Day is known for its flea markets all over the country, where everybody is allowed to sell things in the streets. In Rotterdam artists and bands will perform live on different stages throughout the city and there are shows and activities for all ages.
Whether you are going to relax on a terrace at Rotown, dance on Stadhuisplein or celebrate in one of the neighborhoods, the colour orange will be everywhere. For great bargains, stroll down one of the many flea markets that are located from the Coolsingel to the market on the Binnenrotte.kingie
